Don’t know how people can give positive reviews about this product. It burns my throat and tastes absolutely disgusting

Iodine naturally has a very strong, distinctive flavor, and some people are more sensitive to it than others. If you haven't already, you may find it more comfortable to place the drops toward the back of your tongue, immediately follow with a full glass of purified water as directed, or mix the serving into a small amount of water before drinking. If the product continues to irritate your throat or feels uncomfortable to take, it may be best to discontinue use. Should you take this iodine supplement on an empty stomach or with meals? It doesn’t specify or recommend how and when.
Lugol's Iodine can generally be taken with or without food. However, if you have a sensitive stomach, taking it with a meal may help minimize the chance of stomach discomfort. Take 3 drops by mouth, immediately follow with purified water, and swallow once daily or as recommended by your healthcare provider. Since iodine may support healthy energy levels, some people prefer taking it in the morning or early afternoon.
Can you take the Lymphatic Detox & Drainage Cleanse and the Iodine on the same days?

It is difficult for me to see how many drops are actually getting in my mouth with your dropper. Since you suggest following it with purified water, I am wondering how the results would be affected if the drops go in water first. Also wondering if spring water can be subbed for purified water.

While we recommend purified water, spring water has been safe and can also be used. We generally recommend avoiding tap water whenever possible.
